On Dreaming
One night out with a friend.... not just a night out, but a night of curious fantasies
condensed into one movie. An excellent one to be exact.
Pecker [Furlong] , an enthusiastic young man, living in the run down streets of Baltimore,
begins his career as a squirky snap-shot demon. Eventually, his efforts bring him to notice
by a New York art dealer, Rory [Taylor]. His candid art photos bring him to much
attention in New York City, and new galleries crave his shots. Battle cries and love affairs
fill in the plot, but the end of it all explains the theory of togetherness in fashion.
I can say that this motion picture does it all. It combines the fantasies of adolescence with
the impurities of adulthood. All in all, Pecker does it all. His joyful antics and eyes for love
and truth combine to make something out of nothing. His whims take him and his family
and friends to new heights through his town. Pecker, a one shot artist, explains and
follows the dreams some of us never found.
Love,
Lil
